Importing from Bugzilla

FogBugz has a Bugzilla importer, but there's a few quirks to the process8 or later.If

Navigate to: http://[your_fogbugz_url]/importBugzilla.asp

You should see a form that lets you want point to import from your Bugzilla , please contactsite and select which cases to import into FogBugz. Contact us if you run into any issues.

Importing from Excel

A user has posted a simple method of importing from an Excel spreadsheet using the XML API here.

Another user has written a small Windows app, CaseImporter, to import from Excel.

You can also try this older CSV import tool.

Importing from Mantis

The MantiBugz importer uses the FogBugz XML API, so can be used for either FogBugz On Demand or local installs.

Importing from Jira

Jira is another common tool which customers wish to import into FogBugz. See this post for information.

Importing from Trac

FogBugz has a Trac importer.

Importing from Other Tools

The FogBugz API is sufficiently powerful to use for exporting another bug tracker's historical information into FogBugz. It has the advantage of not needing direct access to the database, so you can use FogBugz On Demand.
