I'm the team lead for a small team of 4 developers. I'm evaluating a new issue tracking/project tool for us to use. Right now it's a toss-up between FogBugz or JetBrains' YouTrack; FogBugz seems really nice and I'm looking at switching us from SVN to Mercurial so we could get some really good use out of Kiln and it's integration.
The only thing I find missing compared to YouTrack is the ability for an end user (a sales manager, for example) to submit a bug report with optionally a screenshot; right now users just come to us out of the blue and we have no paper trail or usually any clue other than "Page x doesn't work". YouTrack has a "bookmarklet" that pops up a very simple form where the user can submit a problem and launch a (Java, I presume) screenshot program.
Does FogBugz have an equivalent or similar way of doing this? Would the preferred approach be to use the Inbox feature and install the screenshot tool on the user's PCs, and then tell them to send an email to an inbox we have set up so FogBugz will pick it up?
