We use FB's outline ability to nest cases related to the same project all under a Master Case for each one. Many times our team members will post updates to the progress of a particular case or some other needed note that is directed toward our project management team. When an edit is added to a case it would be great to be able to flag it as an update so it could be easily differentiated from normal posts.

Even better would be the ability to have a filter or tab that only shows posts flagged as updates in a grid view with the date, case number and description line that can be expanded to show all of the update text. The ability to sort this list by UPDATE DATE or CASE NUMBER would be good. A way to separate active from inactive cases in the view would also be handy.

From a Project Management perspective this would greatly speed up the process of gleaning the latest relevant updates from all of the technical information that gets posted on a daily basis.

FogBugz allows you to view cases you haven't looked at by putting "-ViewedBy:Me" in the Search box in the filter. If you configure the columns of the filter to include the date of the last update and the case number, you can sort on either by clicking on the column header. You can also filter based on the active status.
