Steps to reproduce:

  • Open wiki page editor in chromium-browser
  • Make a table
  • Click in one of the cells (making the Edit Table menu appear)
  • Press Alt+Tab

Expected result:

OS should switch focus to another opened application

The bug:

OS switches focus to another application, but immediately switches back to chromium-brower, making it effectively impossible to use Alt+Tab without first clicking beside the table.

Maybe not exactly a FogBugz bug... The bug is not reproducible in Firefox, so I suspect this is a chromium-browser bug, but I have never seen anything like it outside of FogBugz. Maybe the WYSIWYG wiki editor is doing something strange which makes chromium-browser think it needs to conserve focus?

Whatever the case may be, I would love to regain access to my second favorite feature: Alt+Tab (Ctrl+Z being the first).

I'm using ubuntu 11.10 by the way.

Can you also supply your exact Chrome version? We don't test on Ubuntu. – Rich Armstrong Nov 29 at 14:48
Since your OS is pretty rare for FogBugz end users, and we can't replicate this using Windows or Mac, this question is unlikely to be helpful to other visitors. I'd like to take this offline. Can you please email us at customer-service@fogcreek.com? – Rich Armstrong Nov 29 at 14:49

Please try this on the CKEditor demo and tell us if it persists.

If it's a CKEditor bug, we can report it for you.

I don't have any problems with the CKEditor demo. The Editor with all features demo doesn't have the bubble menu though, is that a Fog Creek addition? – Shawn Inder Nov 17 at 5:57
