Can we have digest emails rather than an email for every case edit?

I get a lot of email from FogBugz. Either from cases assigned to me, cases I'm "notified" of (awesome plugin btw), or cases I've subscribed to.

Right now, every time something happens in one of these cases, I get an email about it. Which is normally great, unless I'm gone for a couple of days. Then, I end up bouncing back-and-forth between my email and FogBugz trying to make sure I've read all of the cases that had activity across multiple projects.

I think some sort of Notifications View would be very useful. Every time FogBugz emails a user about a case, a new item could be added to the view's list. Then I could go to one view in the app and scan through the notifications across multiple projects.

Obvious examples include Facebook and Google+'s little 'notifications' indicator or a typical Twitter client's @mentions section. On the main UI you would indicate a count of notifications, and then be able to click-into or hover to see the list of actual notifications.

I'm rolling this under the "digest email" feature request. That doesn't mean we won't satisfy that request with something like Google+, StackExchange (2.0), or Trello notifications. – Rich Armstrong Sep 20 at 20:43
duplicate of fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/861/… ? Hmm, yeah, that's a pretty different request imo. But I'll hold out hope. Thanks. – AggieBradley Sep 21 at 21:35
