It would be useful to be able to see the reminders other users have setup (or not) for a case.

Update – I envisioned, but didn't articulate, a list of active reminders listed in one location on the case detail page like the AttachmentSidebar plugin does for attachments.

Adding a Do Later event is just like any other case event:

Edited by <someone> <some day>
   Do Later Task (Notify Me) for <someone> has been scheduled for <some other day>.

Searching for the text "Do Later task" shows all cases having any.

Maybe I just don't understand your issue...?
