I use FogBugz in my organization for product support and feature requests, i have a large number of community (non-technical) users who know the difference between a bug and a change/feature request. I would like to see the ability for community users when creating a new case to be able to select the category and provide additional information in custom fields like Location, Base, Room, this is because a large number of users are remote users working in hospital rooms or different offices around the country.

Is this something that could be made possible?

For custom fields, you can make them editable by anonymous and community users on the case submission page. Just edit the field and set the option here:

public custom field

Note that only normal and admin users can edit a case once it is open.

The category drop-down isn't available on the public submission form. A work-around is to create a new drop-down with the categories needed and make it public.
