I upgraded to 8.5.122 this morning, and my users are having very bizarre behavior. It's wierd things like every popup goes fullscreen (like the Working On Case popup or the Filters drop down menu), and the Area dropdown is filled with every area from every project.

These problems only occur in IE8/9. Everything works fine in Firefox.

I noticed that there are JavaScript errors listed in the status bar. I copied it to notepad and it's 11,000 lines of errors. I can send it via email if that would help.

Again, everything is working perfectly fine in Firefix 5, although the Error Console does show a lot of errors.

Is it possible that there is a missing JS library or something out of date in my installation? Is anyone else having a problem like this?

I think your best bet is going to be to report this directly to Fog Creek as a bug rather than via stackexchange. – James McLeod Aug 2 at 18:23
I wonder if this is related to my crashes in Chrome? fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/8920/… on FBOD – CADbloke Aug 4 at 3:12
OK, I'll report it as a bug. Thanks! – JLathem Aug 4 at 14:23
See status.fogcreek.com/2011/08/…; this is fixed in 8.5.123 – Daniel LeCheminant Aug 5 at 21:53

Just updated our install to 8.5.122 and had the same problem with IE.

The workaround we found (for IE8 at least) is to open the developer tools and change the document mode to "Internet Explorer 8 Standards" - in my case it was defaulting to "Internet Explorer 7 Standards" which was providing no joy.

Interesting. Thanks for this - I'll include it in my bug report. – JLathem Aug 4 at 14:24
