Autosubscribe is very nice, but the defaults are set wrong. Each user needs to go in and change his settings to add at least:
Subscribed to ANY ITEM I CREATE
I can't imagine many situations in which you would not want to be subscribed to items you create. Each new user is confused about why they aren't getting any responses to their items until they are guided to turn on that autosubscribe setting.
There should be some way to make that the default for new users.
