This actually occurred on the recent planned outage - I had VS open, with the plugin active.
When I refreshed the FB list (btw, small inconsistency: the button says Reload but the popup says Refresh :) ), VS crashed...
When I browsed to FB, with any sublink, I received the HTML page.
It seems that the plugin can handle no data, but invalid data is not handled properly.
