I have a CMS that is running on a handful of servers and I have integrated FogBugz into the authoring UI for the CMS. I have the same user across all the servers using the API and it is rolled up into some wrapper code. My question is: I noticed in the "Tokens" table that the token string AND an IP address are stored. Is the token tied specifically to that IP address? I wasn't able to make calls using the same token from a server with a different IP address so before I go digging around, I wanted to rule this out.

Thanks!

The IP Address is only being stored for logging purposes. This shouldn't be preventing you from using the same API token on multiple servers trying to access FogBugz via the XML API.

I was finally able to login via the API from various locations using the same token. The issue that was preventing me from logging in from various other locations was a proxy server issue. Thanks for confirming the token use though. Much appreciated. – Mike Tangorre Jul 20 at 5:27
