Filter and search for cases assigned to any member of a group
As implemented, groups represent a set of users, and can be used to set permissions. Setting permissions using groups is great, but groups could also be used in other parts of the tool. In particular, it will be really useful (and almost a requirement for large organizations) if we could set groups to represent management structures, and then allow a manager to query/filter for all open cases for their group by doing "assignedto:" I have read some stuff about how groups used to work in V7 to group projects, but that is not what I am asking for. What I am asking is to maintain the current definition of groups (as set of users), but enhance it so we can use groups in other areas of the tool (rather than just for permissions).
