Looking at the "sort messages" setting on the mail account settings page, it looks like to change the default assignee of a mailbox, I have to pick "Manually" mode. Is there a way I can keep the benefits of spam filtering and still pick who I want the default assignee to be? Or even better, use bayesian filtering to decide who things should be assigned to?

Admin -> Mailboxes lets you choose if you want new emails to be put into auto-sorted areas within a project, or to a specific Project and Area. In either case, you can set the default assignee for new cases using Admin -> Workflow |
