We run our own install of FB/Kiln on a VM setup with:
- 2 CPUs @ 2.93GHz
- 4GB of RAM
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition, Service Pack 2
- IIS 6
- FB 8.4.90 (DB 780, Build 1) with more than 12,000 cases
- Kiln 2.4.112.0 (DB 109)
a few minutes after starting the IIS app pool, the w3wp.exe process consumes more than 200MB of RAM. The memory consumption can reach 400MB when it processes some requests.
Is this level of memory consumption healthy, or is there something wrong with our instance?
