If I have an email account configured in FogBugz called support@example.com, I would like to be able to send an email to support+foo@example.com and have FogBugz automatically assign the case to the "foo" project.

Alternatively, this could be accomplished by putting the project name in the subject line of the email, e.g. (project: foo)? This already works for case numbers.

That will not work. The case number is the only special thing that's used from the subject. FogBugz does not set the project from the mail address.

Can you create multiple email accounts? Use a separate account/inbox for every project. I think that's the only way to do what you want.

Thanks for the info. I'll experiment with having a separate email address per project. I'm an IT support person and I make each business I work with its own project. The email addresses for each project could be in the format of company1@example.com, company2@example.com, etc. – Bobby Burgess Jun 25 at 19:50
@Bobby: I didn't read your question as a feature request until now. I think it's a nice idea. But I'm afraid it's too localized to be implemented... unless everyone votes it up! – Michel de Ruiter Jun 26 at 20:33
