What specific Search improvements and rich case edit bug fixes? Both are areas our users have commented on as having issues, but I want to know what I'm getting before scheduling the upgrade. – GMNA Jun 21 2011 at 4:46
Please be more elaborate what was actually changed! – christian123 Aug 1 2011 at 9:00

I agree with GMNA, try to make the release notes a little more detailed. If there is a change management process larger companies have to deal with, justification needs to be provided before resources can be committed to an upgrade and thus details are mandatory.

Even at smaller shops folks might want to know what's being fixed just to know if they've been looked after.

For our customers, we just use the FogBugz release notes and have a "user friendly" detailed blurb about each case that went into a release.

For a hypothetical example:

  • Lists within Rich Text Case Events Not Indenting
    • Fixed an issue that was preventing a list within a rich text case event from indenting correctly when CAPS LOCK was on.
