I always have a case open, and select 'Working on This Case', and then select 'Working on Nothing' after I'm done. And the time doesn't update. Maybe it shouldn't so I'm not slapped in the face with how much time I've been taking when I should be more productive, but it seems wrong that it just stays at 0. And then when I'm finally done, I Resolve the case, and it closes it down, and doesn't tell you how long you took. So again, maybe this is by design to keep this hidden, but it seems wrong.

Should this be fixed, or is it by design??

The total number of minutes that have been "spent" on a case should be reflected in the "Elapsed Time" column in the grid view once you refresh the page.

Yes it does. The point of my question is that I've given that webpage new information -- that I've stopped working on the case -- and it doesn't refresh itself. In other words, it knows that things have changed, yet does not take this opportunity to refresh the content it is displaying. – Jason Doucette May 11 2011 at 16:12
