Hi Guys

We are running FogBugz version 8.4.87 on Windows 2003 Web (all updates and patches installed weekly).

When I try and search for any terms that is not a case number, e.g. "client integration", the page returns the search results, but immediately redirects to the below URL and gives the following HTTP 500 error:

The page cannot be displayed

Explanation: There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. Try the following:

Refresh page: Search for the page again by clicking the Refresh button. The timeout may have occurred due to Internet congestion. Check spelling: Check that you typed the Web page address correctly. The address may have been mistyped. Access from a link: If there is a link to the page you are looking for, try accessing the page from that link. Technical Information (for support personnel)

Error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. The request was rejected by the HTTP filter. Contact the server administrator. (12217)

Does anyone know of a solution? I have monitored the firewall logs (ISA Server 2006 Ent running on Windows 2003 server) but can not pick up any failures here either.

Thank you Hein

Note also that Windows 2003 Web Edition is not a supported OS. fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/6793/… – Rich Armstrong May 10 2011 at 16:26
We have this exact problem as well, but we are running Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition. We never see the problem inside our firewall, and it's intermittent outside it for some, every time for others - tested on multiple browsers and OSs. – Dave Hodder Jun 22 at 14:50

Windows 2003 Web Edition is not a supported OS, per our system requirements page. Sorry. Microsoft will only let you run web sites, not business applications, on this OS.
