I recently converted our local FB instance (8.4.87) from Fogbugz Authentication to Active Directory authentication. After converting, none of the user accounts would work, authenticating locally or with AD. To solve this, I manually entered the AD accounts in the sLDAPUid field of the Person table. There seems to be a missing step in UI for converting accounts from Local to AD authentication, or did I miss something? |

When you successfully log into your Active Directory server through FogBugz, it'll try to find your account by your email and full name. If it does so correctly, it assumes it can find other accounts. There might've been something wrong here with matching emails and full names up with current FogBugz accounts? In any case, setting the sLDAPUid is a good workaround, but you should probably contact us if you have any other issues. |
