For example, I would like to add an HTML table structure to a snippet. But when I do, all I get is escapted HTML. When I go to the edit HTML source view, snippets seem to be disabled.

Thanks, Mike

HTML snippets would be great, but even something as simple as bold and italics support would be great. – Jason Down Sep 13 2011 at 19:18

Currently, only plain text snippets are supported.

I agree, this would be very helpful!

Perhaps a checkbox indicating whether or not we want the snippet treated as plain or HTML.

  • if we're in the HTML editor mode:

    • an HTML snippet is put in as-is
    • a plain snippet it HTML encoded (i.e. the current behavior)

  • if we're not in the HTML editor then do dialog:

This is an HTML snippet. You are in plain mode. Do you want to [use the snippet in plain mode] or [switch to HTML mode and use the snippet]?

Yep! This feature would be great.

We rely on snippets a lot & can't really enjoy the benefits of HTML if we can't use it within snippets.

This is a much needed feature for me and my team.

Are you actually able to use bullet points when editing a case comments?
