Replicate it by:

  1. Click "Attach File" link when editing a case.
  2. Press "Choose File" button.
  3. Drag your file onto the open dialog box and click ok.
  4. The "Attach File" link is still there. (Rather than "Attach another file")
  5. The file you selected isn't showing (where in other browsers you'd be able to click the can to remove that attachment).

You found a bug!

I have opened a case to investigate this for a future release. We will update here when it is resolved. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us via the link below.

The problem only happens when you drag a file onto the open dialog box. This makes FogBugz think you're dragging and dropping a file onto the case, which changes the form on the page. If you select the file from the dialog it should work.

You're right. That's exactly what I was doing (dragging the image from Skitch to the open file dialog). For some reason, it only seemed to break when using Safari. Firefox handles the use case fine. – Duff OMelia Mar 5 2011 at 4:52
Am experiencing similar problem when attaching files in wiki pages. I attach the file via Insert->Attachment->choose file but it doesn't get attached. That is, I;m not using drag & drop. btw, Safari 5.0.3, fogbugz v8. – michaelanthonycarroll May 4 2011 at 12:36

I have a similar issue, when I am on Safari in Windows 7, when I attempt to click on a file in the open file dialog window, the click registers with the browser window and sends me to a different page in Fogbugz.
