Feature Request: Display incoming HTML emails

It is great that case notes now support HTML, but I noticed that incoming email is still converted to Plain Text, even if the email is sent HTML-only. Is there a way to get at least limited HTML in the case notes from emails?

If not, this would be a great feature. Many of our clients send us email with words in bold or highlighted, and it is challenging to decipher what they mean without some formatting.

We experienced some poor performance with the first iteration of incoming HTML email. We plan to revisit this at some point.

Just wondering if this has been done yet?

Indeed - we would VERY much like this functionality. We are having to hand enter loads of cases instead of having them forwarded via email because the contents are too jumbled to read at this point. – Ducain Jul 27 2011 at 16:32

We just started using FogBugz OnDemand on a trial basis. All HTML formatted email responses seem to be converted to plain text when being added to case notes.

Could we get limited support for HTML formatted emails to preserve text formatting even if there are other features that can't be implemented because of performance issues (e.g., preserving embedded images)?

Would this additional functionality also allow for tables pasted (from Excel mostly) into emails sent from Outlook to be formatted correctly within the case?
