Hi,

We use FogBugz for our project. I like the fact that I get email notifications when another member of the team files a bug - not only does it make me aware of the issue, it also stays in my inbox as a reminder.

However, I suppose for good reason FogBugz doesn't send you an email notification when you raise an issue and assign it to yourself, at least not by default.

I can't find any option to enable this. Is it possible?

Thanks, Alan

FogBugz tries to minimize the mail flood: it doesn't notify you of a change that you already know about.

There might be a workaround, for instance by (auto)subscribing a virtual user with your e-mail address to all cases assigned to you.

Another way to notify yourself is to subscribe to the RSS feed (of the My Cases filter).

OK, thanks for the tips - I'll try them out. I understand the reasoning behind it for most users but this would actually be a useful feature for me (especially when I'm working offline). – Alan Spark Feb 11 2011 at 14:59
