Hi all, I am seeing this in the "Estimate (current)" column:
Now, notice in both cases, the sum of 60 mins resolves to 1.02 hours instead of 1 hour. Also, my parent case has no estimate. So, is there a problem with FogBugz's math or is there an explanation to this? Thanks, Chi |

The grid view rounds the estimate to the nearest integer. For instance, I was able to replicate this precisely with the following estimates (in minutes): 10.2, 20.3, 20, 10. The cases themselves will also contain the rounded data, when in reality the database contains the exact decimal value that was used. The problem should go away if you reset the estimates to the numbers that you see. If you continue to have problems, please contact us! |
