Question

The filter dropdown only allows me to filter by one project or one assigned user.

What if I want one filter that shows all cases in a given project, assigned to, say, me or assigned to the "Up for Grabs" virtual user?

The drop-downs only allow selection of one Project, Area, Status, etc. How about allowing multiple with a UI something like this?

Instead of setting the value in the filter, add a search to the filter.

Get the project filter set, then click Filter: to get the dropdown.

Select the Search for item and put something like this in the edit:

assignedto:me OR assignedto:grabs

By the same token, you could select the My Cases filter and add a search for:

project:fogbugz OR project:copilot

If you need to do a lot of these and the names are too long, you can get the project ID and search like this:

project:=26 OR project:=35

We have a case open to consider the ability to select multiple values for a filter criterion for a future release. Please up-vote this question to show your support for adding this feature.

how would I use this to filter by status codes? We have categories "Bugs" and "Features" and under each of those we have a status code "Pending Review." I'd like to have one filtered view that shows me all the "Pending Review" cases.

I've tried status:{Category}{various delimiters}{Status} but none worked yet. For example:

status:Bug-Pending Review

bump, gets my vote. Currently we have to link to source data and use an MS Access report to filter only for specific projects. Would be nice to have the ability within the UI.

I have the same situation - have similar status codes for different categories.

Try searching for: status:Pending Review

The search will match all cases (different categories) with a status like "Pending Review"

Voting up. A handy multi-select GUI for filters would make my life easier.

Upvoted. Definitely useful feature as we use Groups for assigning at early stages of projects and this feature would help things slip through cracks less often.
