Currently we only use FogBugz within the technology team, but are considering widening the use so that our internal and external customers can use it. Community Users seem appropriate for our internal customers who will want to raise and track their cases.

From a quick look it seemed that only certain case details and certain types of case events were visible by the Community User.

Can you let us know the rules around what details and events Community Users can and can't see.

Community users can see all correspondence on the case (between them and you, not between you and perhaps a party you forward the case to).

They can also see the open/closed status, but not whether it's resolved, or a resolution status.

They can see the date it was opened, the project and area, and any custom fields you make visible to Public.
