i'm investigating FB for private purposes, having used JIRA at work.

i wonder if there is somewhere an overview of all the time segments that got recorded by FB thru the use of its mylyn connector in eclipse?

i need to usually mass edit these to reflect the actual work being done and AFAIK and see there is no overview to see this nicely, only per case.

my use case: i have diff. use cases for the cases/issues in FB. one is to track time and is usually coarse grained, while its subtasks are fine grained and used mark the change sets that i commit to my SVN, luckily the assignments can be altered afterwards, before commit.

the problem now is that i dont always activate the proper cases at the right time and hence the time reported isnt quite right. also, i might deactivate a sub task w/o activating the next one causing FB to miss this time i actually worked on cases.

what would be really good where this:

designate a default task that keeps the time if no tasks are active.

The short answer is (unfortunately) no, that doesn't exist yet. It would be a great extension to this Time Sheet plugin: http://www.fogcreek.com/FogBugz/Plugins/plugin.aspx?ixPlugin=18 , and also suggests a neat plugin that would take the BugzId attached to a source control commit and use that to fill in timesheet entries for empty intervals. That would be neat.
