I am no longer able to forward emails from Outlook with attachments into my Fogbugz account. The e-mail goes through but the attachment shows up in the case as "attachedMessage.eml.unsafe" and is unusable. I have checked my settings and it appears that my "trusted file types" are in order and set to accept standard formats such as jpg, pdf, doc, docx, etc.

This change seems to have coincided with FogBugz 8. Any ideas? Thanks!

... set to accept standard formats such as jpg, pdf, doc, docx, etc.

But not eml, which seems to be the case here. The attachment probably is some e-mail document?

If you add ,eml to the Trusted File Types, FogBugz will not add the .unsafe extension. Then you will be able to open the attachment normally (if your computer knows what to do with it).

Thanks so much for responding!

The attachment is not an e-mail document. It's a document, such as a Word doc or jpg, attached to an Outlook e-mail message and then sent to Fogbugz.

I used to be able to do this with no problems.

I tried adding ,eml as you suggested and it didn't work. DRAT!

FYI, it seems that you posted this as a different account than the one you asked the question with. Also, this post would make more sense as a comment to @Michel de Ruiter's answer than as a separate answer to your question. – cdeszaq Jan 7 2011 at 14:07
