As already mentioned in these old posts:

Nearly everywhere I have always been using smallcoding languages like BBCode, MediaWiki, LaTeX and HTML. When I started working with the FogBugz wiki I had loads of problems with the editor: It didn't have some options (e.g. <hr /> ) in the WYSIWYG, the HTML editor slowed me down much more then a MediaWiki editor would for the same formatting and the self-generated HTML was often messy and tough to fix when pasting text from elsewhere (example: it treats it as one paragraph, applying styles in WYSIWYG to the whole block).

My request/quesion now is "Is there any other way of using another editor, for example as an option or plugin." If not, I would like to suggest this feature.

There is a spot on the roadmap for adding a Markdown editor to the wiki and/or to cases. Since the wiki has recently gotten a lot of attention, it might be some time before we turn our attention to this.

All right, that would certainly work for me. I'm not sure if cases would need it as much though. – Raven Jan 4 2011 at 20:40
