I'm using a FogBugz On Demand system, and working in Chrome. I've discovered that whenever I click on the checkbox of one of the cases, the browser starts behaving as if the Shift key is being held down - i.e. when I move the mouse up or down, all cases between the checked case and the mouse also get checked. I also cannot uncheck the box; have to refresh the browser to get things to clear.

No, my Shift key is not stuck down. I tried the same in IE, and it works fine. Closed my Chrome browser (all windows!) and reopened; same behavior. I even rebooted, just to be sure. Looks like this behavior is only in Chrome.

What version of Chrome, and what OS? – cdeszaq Dec 20 2010 at 14:37
There is a feature where dragging across multiple cases will select them. You are supposed to be able to uncheck the boxes though. (It's working properly in my Chrome, version 8.0.552.224) – Daniel LeCheminant Dec 20 2010 at 15:26
@Daniel - my version of Chrome is 8.0.552.224, same as yours! OS = Win 7 Ultimate x64 – Shaul B Dec 20 2010 at 15:50
@Shaul: Also on Win 7 Ultimate x64, running FBOD 8.2.22. I'm not sure what else could be different... do you have any BugMonkey customizations running? – Daniel LeCheminant Dec 20 2010 at 16:20
What's BugMonkey? (I guess that answers your question!) – Shaul B Dec 20 2010 at 16:50

I was having this problem for the longest time, and I just got it figured out. The short answer is to uninstall the Babylon plugin.

If you're interested in more detail: I opened up an "Incognito" window and logged in, and the odd behavior wasn't there, so I figured it must have been a plugin. I had completely uninstalled Chrome (including browsing history), so the only plugin I had was LastPass (which is installed at the OS level)--or so I thought. When I opened my Extensions window (wrench button at the top right > Tools > Extensions) there was a plugin called "Babylon". I forgot when this was installed, but I think it came with IE, and I never used it. I didn't even know I had it installed. Uninstalling this plugin and refreshing Fogbugz fixed the problem.

You genius, you! Babylon is a translation package which I consciously installed. I disabled the Chrome plugin, and now FB works perfectly! THANK YOU! – Shaul B Jan 20 2011 at 8:47
