I would like to change which columns are displayed in the default filter view used when browsing bugs.

For example, on the home page I click on a user under "Open Case by Person" to view an individuals tasks. The default view shows the following columns: "status", "opened by", "remaining" and "Priority". I would like to view different filter columns by default without having to save a filter for every person. Is this possible?

As far as I know, there isn't a way to modify what the links on that page point you to. But, if you look at the URL, what they seem to be doing is going to a pre-built filter and augmenting it with the person you are looking for.

What I would do is set up and save a filter the way you want it for one person (yourself, for example) with all of the columns set up the way you want. Then, when you want to look at Person X's cases, load the saved filter, and then click on your name in the filter area and select Person X from the drop-down.

This method will let you get the same functionality with out having to have a filter for each person, and will also let you have EXACTLY the column configuration you want, including columns, column ordering, width, and sort order!
