Hello, In project "Big App," I have case #1234, assigned to Joe and estimated to take one hour. Once Joe has done the work, what is the difference between his entering the elapsed time manually on the case, versus indicating in his timesheet that he worked on the case from 9 to 10 AM? Thanks! -Daniel |

There is virtually no difference. In the first case, FogBugz won't know when that work was done; only that it was done at some point. Likewise, it won't know who did the work, only how accurate (and consistent) the estimator was. This is one reason why it is best to estimate your own cases. Everything else will work exactly the same, however, so unless you're concerned about the time intervals on the timesheet (which you may be, depending on your needs) you don't need to worry about it. |
