Posting here is great because it lets you find out if this is a wide-spread problem, and also to alert others. I would also suggest contacting Fog Creek directly if you are having serious issues with speed. My guess is that either their servers are under a substantial load (unlikely in my experience) or that there is some other slow-down in the network between their servers and you. Since network issues are a.) hard to diagnose, b.) hard to fix, and c.) specific to certain users, dealing with them directly is probably the best course of action. |

We have no general reports of slowness at the time this question was answered. You can always go to http://status.fogcreek.com to see if there's general slowness or down time. If you don't see anything there, the best thing to do is contact us directly. When it's not posted on the status blog, half of the time, reports of slowness reveal some other force at play. The other half the time, it's something specific to your account that we need to troubleshoot directly. Regardless, we have a team of friendly, dedicated programmers and sysadmins on hand to troubleshoot the problem. Do not suffer in silence. We want to hear from you! If this is for a copy of FogBugz installed on your server, the #1 culprit is not enough RAM. (2GB min. 4GB preferred.) |
