How do I shrink a large image in the FogBugz Wiki so that it doesn't occupy so much space? Ideally, I would like to fit it inside the standard borders of the Wiki page.

I would like to be able to set the actual width in the image properties. It could be auto-populated with the size for "fit column width" if the image width was greater than the column width. – James Bayley May 28 at 10:27

I found a cute work-around based on CSS, in case there isn't a proper built-in solution.

Using BugMonkey, add the following CSS rule:

.article-content img[title~="(fit)"] {
  width: 100%;
}

To invoke it, append " (fit)" to the image title.

I've only tested it on Chrome, so YMMV.

Works great, also with IE8, thanks! – Michel de Ruiter Nov 15 2010 at 8:35
That is a rather cute workaround! – cdeszaq Nov 16 2010 at 15:33

Firefox will put draggable handles which you can use to resize on the edges of an image if you click it in edit mode.

This feature is provided by the browser, so it's not always there and you may not notice if its absence if you use a different browser.

Thanks @Ted. That's handy to know. – Marcelo Cantos Nov 18 2010 at 0:35
