I'd love a button on the case view UI to toggle the sorting of the events between newest->oldest and oldest->newest.

Ideally it would remember which way you have it toggled and maintain that sort for each user until they change it.

Anyone else with me on this?

I'd like to see this feature as well. – Rob Sobers Apr 1 2010 at 17:38
I'd like to see this feature too. Normally when working on a case seeing the newest on to suits me best. But when I have to go in and read up on a case that has been worked on by others it would be handy to be able to reverse this sorting of the bugevents without going to My Settings menu. Bringing up the next case would use my default setting and show newest first again. – GuHa Dec 15 2011 at 16:28

There's already a "case sort" option in the "User Options" page.

Is that what you're looking for or do you want to be able to toggle the sort more easily from the Case page without going into User Options?

I just set the case sort to "Show newest edits first" and leave it there.

I hadn't noticed that setting before. Thanks! Might still be handy to be able to toggle that setting from the case view page to make it easier to do this "on the fly" and make it easier to find for unobservant people like myself. =) – JohnFx Nov 3 2009 at 16:46
