I have created a custom "description" field for my cases and I was wondering whether there is a mechanism in FB that would allow me to pre-populate the field with some template text when a new case is created?

One way would be to write up a Bugmonkey script that gives you a button that, when activated, can populate that field with some default text. If I have time, I'll throw something together, but others more versed in this may be able to do a better job of it...

Hit the nail on the head, again. Depending on the needs, it should be possible to have BugMonkey auto-fill in the text without a button but based on Project/Area. – Bradford♦ Oct 28 2010 at 18:43
