It has come up a few times in our company that the management class would like more transparency into what is going on in the development group and/or our help desk (that uses FB for a ticketing system).

We have repeatedly reminded them that they have FB accounts and sent them the URL, but after a quarter or two they forget and request it again.

I'd love to see a SharePoint web-part that summarized data from FogBugz (perhaps tied to a filter) that we could drop on their management dashboards.

This has been on my to-do list for quite some time, but other priorities keep jumping in front of it. I'm throwing this out there in case someone might want to take it on, or already has an existing solution.

You should add an argument to your plugin which displays your reports in a fun way for sharepoint, and then use that... – Michael Pryor Oct 9 2009 at 17:37

Can't you make a webpart which is essentially an iFrame? Then just put your fogbugz install in it with a bookmarked filter. If you can get the mgmt to go to the sharepoint page, and log on JUST ONCE, you're done.

Yes, but there really isn't a screen in FB so much that works well as part of a larger dashboard. – JohnFx Sep 16 2009 at 16:19

I would also be very much interested in such a plugin...

A nice graph with: number of open cases, number of cases new and closed last week, e.g. sampeld every week and showed for the last year. For individual projects or a sum of projects.

What about using the RSS feed and a reader web part?
