I'm evaluating using the workflow plugin. I'm worried about backward compatibility. i.e. Suppose I install this plugin and set a case to a new category created using this plugin. Later on, I want to uninstall this plugin, what happens to the category of the case that was edited with this plugin?

[edit] I'm assuming that the workflow plugin adds new enumerations in the Category field of the database. For example, if the category enumeration is 2, and workflow enters a value 12 for a new category, won't FogBugz get confused once I uninstall workflow?

Have users of this plugin noticed anything else that I need to be careful about while installing this plugin?

Behind the scenes, the workflow plugin doesn't really do much. It adds the menu item and allows you to edit workflows, categories, and so forth, but all the real functionality is built into FogBugz.

If you delete the plugin, nothing will change except that you will no longer be able to edit workflows. They will continue working same as before.
