In earlier versions of FogBugz there was proper documentation. Now you click help and you get this stack exchange thing.

I want a .chm or a website with a decent narrative.

I don't think many trial users will be impressed.

Where is the proper documentation?

We don't have stand-alone, narrative documentation for FogBugz 8. Instead, we've created a documentation tag here on the knowledge exchange. This now has a table of contents that makes finding your topic of interest smoother. We intend to move toward a downloadable PDF document, harvested from the constantly changing (and improving) documentation content on this site.

Here's an explanation on why we chose this structure.

I understand the reasoning. But, as it is right now information is missing and I don't feel that endusers should have to drive the creation of the basic documentation.

I strongly suggest that Fogcreek starts updating the information here as a lot of features are currently undocumented.

Please start a question tagged "documentation" for any feature you don't see documented in the table of contents here: fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/tagged/… That will feed it into our new workflow for categorization and documentation. – Rich Armstrong Dec 22 2010 at 18:34
