Hello,

Every time I log into the Fog Bugz plugin in VS 2010 it crashes immediately. I've double-checked my password and URL. Any suggestions?

I think this problem is related to fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/4736/…. I found that my VS 2008 sometimes crashes too with this plugin. – Dmitry Lobanov Oct 10 2010 at 12:58
Confirming that this crashes VS2008 for me, too. – Travis Oct 10 2010 at 22:06
Please confirm if this is still happening. – Rich Armstrong Feb 9 2011 at 16:21

I'm looking into this but I've been unable to reproduce the problem so far.

Would you mind capturing the requests made to FogBugz by the VS plug-in using Fiddler and sending the trace to us so we can see if anything strange is going on?

The trace will have sensitive information in it (your password/api token), so I'd recommend going through the trace and removing passwords/tokens before you send it in or post it anywhere.

Once you've got the trace you can send it to us at: customer-service@fogcreek.com, linking to this question or citing the case number (Case FC1960242) should be enough to make sure it gets to me.

Taking the trace is relatively easy once you've installed Fiddler, Visual Studio should automatically use the correct proxy settings, so once Fiddler is up and running all you should need to do is log in and then export the trace.

I will have to get back to you near the end of this week. I am travelling and don't have the machine that was crashing with me. It works on this machine, FWIW. I just need it on the other machine :) – Travis Oct 12 2010 at 13:02
@Travis Whenever you get the chance :) – Aaron Maenpaa Oct 13 2010 at 19:16
