In the past FogCreek has always posted release notes for minor versions like the ones found here.

However now with version 8 out, when I go to the page below the link that says will show me the "release notes" brings me to the overview of FB 8 page.

I'm curious what fixes were included in the minor release between version 8.0.0 and 8.0.26

Update: All release notes are listed here: http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/release-notes.

8.0.26 was the first "8.0" version released, which is why the release notes point to "What's New in FogBugz 8."

When we do release minor versions, we will continue to post release notes, however they will be found on this StackExchange site with the tag "fogbugz-release-notes".

The link to these release notes will also be available on the standard download page (and probably from the support overview page, as well).

What was the reasoning for changing the location/format of release notes in Fogbugz 8? In FB7, the release notes were pages on the FogCreek site like this: fogcreek.com/FogBugz/kb/releaseNotes/… Now in FB8 they're actually Knowledge Exchange "Questions" with the release note as an answer: fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/5751/… I personally prefer the old pages mostly due to formatting, but it was also nice to have the "All Fog Bugz # release notes" link on the bottom as well. Just curious. – Mike Caron Nov 9 2010 at 17:41
Hi Mike -- the same formatting of our index of release notes is now available at fogbugz.stackexchange.com/release-notes -- and we chose to use StackExchange for the individual release notes pages because it felt like a natural way to reuse our knowledge exchange system. – Ben Kamens Nov 9 2010 at 19:07
