After upgrading to FogBugz 8 first edit of any existing document produces a huge diff e.g. alt text

As a result it's totally impossible to understand what the user actually edited!

I would propose several solutions to this problem: 1. Automatically create "Style modification" revision to any wiki document during the upgrade. 2. Automatically create additional "Style modification" revision the moment someone edits old document (so 1st edit produces two revisions). 3. Change the diff viewer to suppress style changes in such cases.

But now, we already got lots of documents with diffs that mix style changes and actual user changes. I think the right solution will be some kind of "fix" script that goes over the DB and splits the already existing revisions.

We just spent some time trying to figure this out. Some sort of comment that in the document history would have been helpful. – Michael Oct 7 2010 at 19:33

Thanks for the bug report! Turns out this is being caused by the new WYSIWYG editor "fixing" the html from the previous wiki the first time a legacy article is edited. We're investigating a solution.
