When editing or creating cases of certain categories, it saves as "bug" even though I chose "Schedule Item" or another category.

Update:
This issue was solved with the help of technical support.

It was caused by some invalid values in the Category.ixStatusDefaultActive column in the database from updates we had manually done to the database.

Mea Culpa, removing the "Bug" tag from this question.

What version of FogBugz? There was a bug a couple releases ago where subcases would always inherit their parent case's category, even if you explicitly set a category for them. – David Fullerton Oct 26 2009 at 17:03

I am starting to think this is related to one category I created with the workflow plug-in and may be specific to my installation. Taking this over to the support line. – JohnFx Oct 27 2009 at 15:37

This is usually indicative of some bad data in your Status or Category table. When the rows are all set up correctly, this should not happen.
