I used to have "Report" link (menu) in FB 7.0. On migration that link/menu has disappeared. Let me know in FB 8.0 how can I get to for eaxample all defects assigned to persons, or within a milestone, etc.. Now, I see the link for Schedules instead of Reports.

Update: Those links are gone and will stay that way. If you want to build a report, we think you'll be much happier with the new reporting and graphing features integrated into filters. Try clicking the button next to a filter, and selecting one of the graph or table views.

If you're attached to the old links, they are still accessible if you know the URLs.

  • Project -- default.asp?pg=pgMiniReport&nType=0
  • Milestone -- default.asp?pg=pgMiniReport&nType=2
  • Priority -- default.asp?pg=pgMiniReport&nType=3
  • Person -- default.asp?pg=pgMiniReport&nType=4

The group report (nType = 1) no longer works because of the rearrangement of permissions.

Somebody else asked about the Tag Report earlier. For completeness, that's also still available at default.asp?pg=pgTagReport.

So, it's more-or-less impossible to get to the tags report, other than by manually bookmarking the correct URL? – Matt Feb 28 2011 at 21:09
Correct. You could use bugmonkey to add the URL to the menu I bet, but consider the old reports officially deprecated. – Ted Mar 2 2011 at 18:31

It seems that this change has made it impossible to get to FNN Plugin features - am I correct or just missing something?

Thx Jonathan

Hi Daniel, You are probably right - my mistake ;) I found the answer. The FNN menus are visible under the Extras menu on the top right. Jonathan – Jonathan Wax Sep 24 2010 at 6:20
Yeah. FNN was never under the reports menu because the API never allowed adding to that one. I wanted to move it into that menu, but now I'm glad I didn't. – JohnFx Jan 22 at 16:06
