Problem
If you are using the Tabbed Browser Extension with Mozilla, you may experience UI problems. One problem is that the Filter dropdown may stop working.

Solution Unfortunately the Tabbed Browser Extension is a very buggy piece of code. Even the website itself and the Mozilla foundation do not recommend using it. See http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/tabextensions/tradeoff.html.en#disadvantage The simplest fix is to follow the advice of the Tabbed Browser Extension creators, and not use their software :)
