...Active or Inactive? Seems like it would be Inactive, since the idea of a virtual user is to not use a license? Will setting a virtual user to inactive create any problems?

If you are creating a new virtual user, you most likely want their status to be Active.

A virtual user won't use a license, regardless of whether it is active or inactive.

A virtual user can't log on and doesn't use up a license

If you do mark a virtual user inactive, you won't be able to assign any cases to it.

thanks. You'd think after selecting the user type as 'virtual' the message regarding active/inactive would change to something like 'neither active or inactive virtual users count against your license.' – bluevoodoo1 Aug 31 2010 at 18:01
