I just edited my backlog for a Case from "1" to "8" and after saving it, and going back to that filter, it then re-generates negative values on backlog: "-2" to "5".
Why is it doing this after I correctly saved the initial filter?

First, a couple of questions: What version of FogBugz and the Project Backlog plugin are you using? Earlier versions of the plugin were known to generate negative numbers on occasion, but the latest version has fixed all the known bugs that caused that behavior. But, if you're running the latest version of the plugin, you may have found a bug we need to fix. The Project Backlog plugin tries to maintain an overall ordering with no gaps in it. As a result, if a negative value somehow manages to find its way into your backlog, it can result in the behavior you're seeing. If you're not running the latest version of the plugin, upgrading will likely correct this problem as part of the upgrade process goes through and corrects any negative backlog values it finds. |
