3 Feature Requests for Grid and List Views:

1st. In the columnar Grid View, can anyone split the 200 characters of comments from the title, rather than showing them in the same field? Using a custom field only gives you 100 characters and revisions overwrite what was written earlier. Having a separate column enables robust cut and paste leading to a single document of requirements, or project status, or content management.

2nd. FogBugz list format (shown as a choice in customizing filters) desperately needs field choices. If you could customize where the fields show up, type size and where line breaks happen, that too would be remarkable. Here's what the output of that list might look like:

Case Number__ Title __ carriage return

Field 1 __ Field 2__ Field3 __ carriage return

200 characters of description.

Repeat with next case...

3rd. Within a customized filter, we'd like to see summary counts of occurrences of customized fields, like the number of cases at milestone 1, milestone 2, milestone 3, etc. or the number of cases assigned to person 1, person 2, person 3, etc.

These features would provide us with the single page dash board we really need.

For point 1, I'll file an enhancement request. The lack of a latest comment column shouldn't be too hard to fix.

For point 2, the list format has long been essentially deprecated. We keep it around because some people are used to it, but it's not likely to receive any further improvements.

For point 3, FogBugz 8 includes many new reporting and tabulating features. We'd appreciate feedback on how they meet your needs and what else we can do.
