If I have zero or only a few historical estimates, what does EBS use?

EBS needs a minimum of six estimates to make any prediction whatsoever, so we fill out your estimation history with estimate from a very poor estimator. This is because we don't want to give you a false sense of security with respect to your delivery schedule. As estimates start filling out your history, they replace the very bad estimates. Once you have six historical estimates, we're using only your history. See here for how a case becomes a historical estimate? |
