Is there a way to force EBS / Monte Carlo calculations to run? I came across this post that suggested it only runs nightly: http://support.fogcreek.com/default.asp?fogbugz.4.22165.4 I'd like to make some serious changes to some project milestones and show folks how it could work without waiting 24 hours... |

It's the ship date over time that runs overnight, as that's computationally intense. If you make changes to milestones, assignments, estimates, etc, those should be immediately reflected in the developer timelines and the burndown charts. If you're not seeing this, let us know. Also, if you have control over the database, you can set the value of the dtLastDailyTask row in the Setting table to a date far in the past to force the calculations to run. |
